Krupa Art Foundation is proud to launch the new edition of the KAF Young Art Prize, an international competition dedicated to emerging artists. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to nurturing and supporting contemporary artistic talent.
KAF Young Prize 2026 – the new edition of the international competition for young artists
The second edition of the KAF Young Prize is now open – an international competition for emerging artists who want to develop their practice, experiment, and present their work to a wider audience. After an extremely successful debut, which received over 1,600 painting submissions, this year we are expanding the competition to include two new categories:
- Digital art
- Sculpture and installations
The KAF Young Prize is a platform for artists at the beginning of their careers, offering space for bold gestures, new directions, unconventional approaches, and conscious experimentation. Selected finalists will have the opportunity to present their work to an international jury and the public at the final exhibition in Wrocław in autumn 2026.
In this edition, we will again award three equal main prizes of €12,000 each. All other finalists will receive an exhibition fee of €400. The competition does not single out one “winner”; its aim is to support a wide range of artistic practices and celebrate excellence, exploration, and experimentation. The call for entries is open from 1 January to 31 March 2026 (UTC+2), and participation is open to artists from across Europe.

The jury includes previous laureates, ensuring that emerging voices are represented and connected with the broader art community.
