2026

The call is now open

The second edition of the competition has begun! Entries can be submitted until 31 March, and three winners selected by the jury will receive €12,000 each.

The KAF Young Prize is part of Krupa Art Foundation’s ongoing programme supporting emerging creators in contemporary art. The competition aims to promote outstanding artistic achievements, encourage bold and experimental choices, and support artists at an early stage of their professional development.

By awarding the prizes, the Foundation seeks to create space for young practitioners to experiment and explore new directions without the pressure of immediate economic concerns. The new edition of the competition recognises the most compelling artistic developments of the last two years, now across a broader range of media.

The international open call is addressed to artists aged 18 to 36, working in the fields of painting, digital art, and sculpture or installation. Works submitted to the competition must have been created within the last two years. Finalists will be selected by an international jury from applications submitted by March 31, 2026.

Three artists will be awarded equal main prizes of €12,000. All remaining finalists will receive an exhibition fee of €400 and will take part in a group exhibition at Krupa Art Foundation in autumn 2026.

Applications are submitted via the online form.
